Industrial Electrician

FULL-TIME

$33.69/hr

The electrician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in an industrial manufacturing setting.

Essential job functions:
- Analyzing and solving problems effectively, read blueprints and schematics, and use an array of tools and diagnostic devices to service and install electrical parts.
- Troubleshooting, programming, and maintaining Allen Bradley PLCs using ladder logic code
- Experience troubleshooting VFDs, soft starts, motor starters, and safety circuits
- Understanding of electrical, mechanical, pneumatics, and hydraulic control systems.
- Experience with relay-based control systems troubleshooting and repairs.
- Plan layout, install, and repair wiring, electrical fixtures, and control equipment such as switches, relays, and circuit breaker panels, using hand tools and power tools, according to specifications.
- Applies knowledge of OSHA procedures, particularly Lockout Tag-out and electrical testing.
- Performs routine electrical maintenance on equipment and determines what maintenance plan is required to resolve issue.
- Maintain various PLC programs related to industrial equipment.

Shift start: 7:00AM or 7:00PM
Shift length: 12 hours
Monday-Friday and Saturday or Sunday

• Must be at least 18+ years old

At least 3 years of experience as a licensed electrician preferably in a manufacturing environment required Must hold a valid Massachusetts State Electrician’s license..
