Work for a small, dynamic industrial automation/controls provider and expose yourself to a wide variety of control platforms and industries.

The ideal candidate must be able to work independently, remotely, and with minimal supervision. You must be capable of adapting quickly across job functions and responsibilities.

Qualifications:

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in engineering or relevant work experience
• Experience in wiring and troubleshooting 4-20mA signals
• Experience in installing, building, and/or designing electrical control panels
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, loop drawings for low voltage I/O instruments, and/or electrical wiring diagrams
• Experience with HART communicator device to configure instrumentation
• Experience in programming or troubleshooting PLCs using ladder logic or logic blocks
• Experience in running and installing CAT based networking
• Troubleshoot and repair Variable Frequency Drives, and Instrumentation controllers (transmitters, flow valves)
• HMI/SCADA experience preferably on a Siemens or Allen-Bradley system
• Must be able to travel 30%

Nice to haves:

• Experience with drafting software such as AutoCAD or E-Plan
• Ability to create loop drawings
• Experience with Siemens Step 7, TIA Portal, or Allen-Bradley RSlogix
• Experience with Profibus, ModBus, TCP/IP, and ProfiNet
• Experience terminating fiber optic cables
