Job Description

What You Will Do:

Act as a liaison between English and non-English speaking and/or hearing guests, staff and patients by providing interpreter services.

  • Listen to, comprehend, and translate oral or written communications from English to another language and vice versa.
  • Translate basic to intermediate communication.
  • Comply with all privacy and confidentiality policies when communicating patient information.
  • Develop translated forms and educational materials for non-English speaking and/or hearing populations.
  • Assist in the orientation and onboarding of new members of the network language services team.
What You Will Need:

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • Certification specializing in Deaf Interpretation preferred.
  • Interpreter preferred.

Education:

  • High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree, or Technical degree required.
Additional Preferences:

No additional preferences.
