We Are Hiring:

Ascension Seton is hiring a Spanish Interpreter! This flexible shift will be working with our Disaster Recovery department. 

 

Our Ascension team has been administering COVID-19 vaccinations in our communities and now we need your help to expand our efforts.

What You Will Do:

Act as a liaison between English and non-English speaking and/or hearing guests, staff and patients
by providing interpreter services.

• Listen to, comprehends and translates oral or written communications from English to another language and vice versa.
• Translate basic to intermediate communication.
• Comply with all privacy and confidentiality policies when communicating patient information.
• Develop translated forms and educational materials for non-English speaking and/or hearing populations.
• Assist in the orientation and onboarding of new members of the network language services team.

What You Will Need:

Education:

• High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree, or Technical degree
  required.
