The IBD Analytics Analyst will provide research support to our client – a global investment bank. The analyst will work as an extension of the client’s team and will be responsible for structuring work products based on pitch / deal requirement in consultation with bankers.

Responsibilities include and are not limited to:

• Performing comparable company analysis, precedent transaction analysis, industry research, company / M&A screening, and newsletter preparation
• Preparing pitch books, CIMs, industry overview, detailed company profiles, management biographies, brokers' outlook, share price performance, evolution of industry / peers valuation multiples, and buyer/seller screening
• Basic knowledge of financial statement analysis, valuation, and modelling skills
• Supporting senior members in delivering the assigned projects
• Ability to work independently and efficiently on standard projects and deliver error free work to the Bankers
• Assist in creating and maintaining / updating databases on a timely basis

Requirements:

• MBA(Finance), CPA, Master of Accounting or Bachelor with major in Finance and Accounting
• GPA of 3.5 & above
• Accounting and financial knowledge, with advanced knowledge of MS Office
• Multitasking, teamwork and time management skills
• Able to work under pressure and thrive in a deadline driven environment
• Lateral thinker, decisive and self-confident
• Excellent communication skills and good presentation skills
