The Key Account Manager for assigned GPO's is responsible for building productive relationships and developing/managing contracts with their assigned GPO's. Additionally, this role is responsible for working closely with sales and marketing personnel to develop an d implement strategies to drive purchases of KARL STORZ products within GPO member facilities. The hired candidate should live in the state of Texas,

Job Responsibilities:

  • Must be effective at gaining access and building productive relationships with decision makers within their designated GPOs
  • Success will be directly linked to the ability to work with and motivate the KARL STORZ sales and marketing teams to drive strategies which will help us realize market share gain and revenue growth
  • Complex customer relationship development establishes productive, professional relationships with key decision-makers at multiple levels with the assigned accounts - C suite, supply chain leadership, coaches, and technical buyers
  • Leads solution development efforts that best address customer needs, while coordinating the involvement of all necessary company personnel
  • Drives leadership on all KARL STORZ Endoscopy offerings and initiatives within assigned accounts
  • Represents and sells the entire KSEA portfolio to all stakeholders, and acts as the brand ambassador to the client
  • Prepares executive-level presentations and present recommendations to key stakeholders in the assigned accounts to gain alignment and commitment
  • Develops and implements comprehensive contract rollout plans to ensure performance
  • Provides strategic direction in assigned accounts for the field sales organization, which leads to increased compliance, market share, and competitive replacement
  • Works with and supports field sales teams for strategy development, tactical collaboration, and contract implementation
  • Negotiates, develops, communicates, and renews profitable contracts within assigned accounts


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • A minimum of 10 years' experience working in complex selling environments with multiple decision-makers required
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to negotiate, influence, and generate confidence, trust, and respect with key executives
  • An in-depth knowledge and understanding of current medical-device industry changes, context, and complexities
  • Experience with negotiating contracts required
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally to achieve business goals and drive results
  • Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion in business relationships
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint required
  • Experience within the KARL STORZ organization preferred
  • Existing relationships and a documented track record of success selling within GPO's is strongly preferred
