JOB SUMMARY:

Operates machines to produce parts to specification in an efficient and timely manner.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:

· Machine parts to specifications using documentation presented on routing/drawings and program hardcopy.

· Employ use of inspection methods to ensure the quality of production.

· Ability to perform entry-level problem solving skills.

· Ability to run one or more machine types.

· Maintains housekeeping and safety standards in work area.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

· Ability to load and run machine.

· Strong team player and flexible to move from one task to another.

· Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

· Self-motivated and able to work with little supervision.

· Read, write clearly, and follow written procedures.

· Ability to read and understand basic blueprints.

· Knowledge and ability to utilize standard measuring equipment.

· Basic computer skills.

EDUCATION:

· High School Diploma or equivalent. 0 – 2 years’ experience preferred working in a manufacturing environment.
