Job Description
Avangrid is seeking a Lead Analyst, SAP Support to join their team in their Augusta, ME location.
Responsible for coordinating IT initiatives for the Electric and Gas Operations Support team related to providing design, configuration/development, testing and ad hoc/custom reporting capabilities to the business units.
Project Management with at least one SAP life cycle as the Project Manager. Must have experience managing projects from its inception to post production.
Serves as a primary contact with end users and process owners in a specified business area to understand ongoing process requirements (changes, modifications, and improvements), ensuring overall data integrity and processes for a specified business unit.
Responsibilities
- This position provides Project Management expertise for IT Application Projects. This includes development and management of a project plan, ongoing management of project issues and risks, status reporting and presentations, managing the implementation of solutions throughout all phases of the project, and leading coordination between multiple IT and Business groups.
- Develops solutions to meet ongoing end user requirements; prepares specifications and designs for approved changes; implements configuration/development changes.
- Acts as leader for overall team initiatives; leads planning and coordination activities within the Support Team.
- Leads Support Team to coordinate integration points between application modules to ensure overall process coordination; ensures interface data integrity and processes.
- Provides timely and accurate solutions to the functional business areas, including unresolved user requests from the service desk.
- Develops, maintains and updates documentation including instructions, reference materials, training materials.
- Changes request/transport review and approval.
- Supports on-going end user training and other end user activities as required.
- Supports the definition, review, testing and approval of security access for a specific user group.
Skills and Requirements
Education & Experience Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems or a related field of study with a minimum of 5 years of IT-related experience
- Detailed, cross module SAP Plant Maintenance integration knowledge is strongly preferred.
- Experience with mobility and scheduling software and technology strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of application related configuration and programming techniques and technologies is strongly preferred.
- Broad knowledge of the principles, practices and procedures of the specific business unit is preferred.
- Project Management is required
