Responsible for developing, applying, and enhancing credit risk oversight processes in support of, and under the oversight of, the overall Corporate Risk Management framework and system. Responsibilities includes, but not limited to, evaluating and monitoring of consumer credit risk appetite, tolerance and threshold, defining the process for monitoring the performance of the consumer credit portfolio, and performing reviews of credit risk strategies while using trade-offs among key business metrics such as credit losses, receivables, and profit. Identifies, designs, and implements business analyses in support of business strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Reviews and effectively challenges the ACL assumptions and calculations.
  • Designs and implements comprehensive statistical analysis as part of the credit review process.
  • Assesses and effectively challenges Risk Appetite & KRI tolerances and thresholds.
  • Establishes effective controls in the credit oversight process.
  • Applies and enhances credit risk oversight policies, processes, and procedures.
  • Establishes and maintains effective portfolio tracking to monitor changes in the portfolio credit performance.

Minimum Qualifications

At a minimum, here’s what we need from you:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Business, or other quantitative discipline
  • 4+ years of experience as Credit Analyst, Data Analyst, or related field
  • In lieu of a degree, 8+ years of experience as Credit Analyst, Data Analyst, or related field
  • Effective communication and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent problem solving skills and the ability to handle ambiguity.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Statistics, Economics, Engineering, MBA, or other quantitative discipline
  • 6+ years of experience as Credit Analyst, Data Analyst, or related field
