Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Lead iOS Developer for one of our largest Fortune 500 clients in the Cleveland. This person can sit fully remote for this role. As the Lead iOS Developer, you will be collaborating with internal teams to develop functional mobile applications, while working in a fast-paced environment. There is potential for this individual to be responsible for overseeing a team of iOS developers down the road. This role will primarily be hands on application development, mobile strategy, as well as team mentoring & training. There will also be responsibility for the daily maintenance & delivery of mobile applications. This individual will be a mix between a developer and a people focused manager. They will also be handling code reviews, architecture reviews, and providing the manager feedback on developer performance. In 2022, the team will be using AR (augmented reality) technology for the mobile applications. They will also be meeting with the Product manager (1 time/week) and Project Manager (2-3 times/week). The mobile team has approximately 17 developers who will report into 3 leads, so this lead will impact 1/3 of the developers. Proactive communication is essential for the team to function.

Previous JavaScript Application Development

Coco or Coco touch

SwiftUI experience
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, IT, or Related Field.

8+ years experience iOS Mobile Applications

o Experience with third-party frameworks such as Ionic, NativeScript, Cordova, and/or ReactJS.

Experience with Swift Development for iOS Mobile Applications

Hands on development experience

Professional experience in architecting, designing, and developing highly scale native iOS or Android applications that have been released in the App Store or Play Store.

Experience with Automated Deployments of Mobile Applications as well as continuous integration.

Working knowledge of API Data Feeds, Ingestion Techniques, Data Mapping, Data modeling, and best practices for Object Oriented Design Patterns.

Excellent communication skills, and the ability to coach & mentor other developers. more
