With a lens for diversity, equity and inclusion, the Global Learning + Development team at DoorDash is a team of 15 who leads DoorDash University. Throughout the year, the Global Learning + Development team creates and delivers transformative learning and development experiences for all DoorDash employees. As part of the Global Learning + Development team, the Learning Experience Designer will join an outstanding team with a strong bias for action that democratizes learning.

About the Role

As a Learning Experience Designer, you will partner with business leaders and subject matter experts to develop onboarding and talent enablement solutions for the Marketing organization at DoorDash. You will also help promote interactive design, adult learning, and learning delivery.

You will report to the Senior Manager, Learning Design on our Global Learning + Development team in our Talent Management organization.

You're excited about this opportunity because you will…

  • Partner with business leaders to establish the vision, strategy, roadmap and success metrics for onboarding and talent enablement for the Marketing organization at DoorDash
  • Conduct a needs analysis for the Marketing organization and then, design and deliver blended learning solutions that address those gaps
  • Be a strategic and trusted advisor to the Marketing business leaders and partners about onboarding and talent enablement
  • Use data, analytics and anecdotes to develop insights, evaluate success and drive decisions
  • Develop, coach and mentor others on the Global Learning + Development Team by promoting psychological safety where every team member can contribute and be their best selves

We're excited about you because…

  • You have a proven track record of applying your design and technical skills in building, driving and scaling asynchronous learning and development solutions with tools like Articulate 360 Suite, Camtasia, iSpring Suite, and the Adobe Suite
  • You lead with curiosity, are passionate about democratizing learning and you strongly believe that a successful Global Learning + Development strategy includes the advancement and upward mobility of women, nonbinary and underrepresented employees
  • You have deep listening and exceptional stakeholder management skills; you pride yourself on being an effective communicator and building strong relationships that serve as one of the foundations of your leadership
  • You can translate complex systems and processes into practical learning using storyboards, design thinking sessions and stakeholder interviews
  • You can apply change management and adapt to an evolving business while staying focused on important goals
  • You have 4+ years of experience designing learning and development solutions; gamification, microlearning, and digital transformation experience are a plus
