Support the Global Talent Management & Learning team in all program execution. This role serves as a foundational role to begin a career in Talent Management and Learning. This role will support training programs, the creation of guides and process documentation and coordinate onboarding activities.
How you will impact Ingevity:
- Apply project management tools and skills to ensure the on time launch and flawless execution of projects from concept to close.
- Identify, document, and ensure implementation of process improvements
- Prepares training documentation, such as training content, manuals, notes, questionnaires, and other support materials and distributes course materials and teaching aides as required for each type of program.
- Coordinates and arranges for the use of audio visual and other necessary equipment, finds and arranges facilities for training, may make catering arrangements for meals and refreshments.
- Prepares appropriate forms, correspondence, and records regarding course attendance, feedback on programs, instructors, etc.
- Manage overall project work plans, defining approach, timing and key deliverables and ensures that team meets all project deliverables and timelines and manages logistics for learning programs, in US, UK and in China, as required.
- Maintain the HRIS system while ensuring data accuracy and integrity
- Provides ongoing technical support for plant learning Administrators
- Drives best practices related to user experience, data integrity, training records and training documentation for the HRIS system
- Generates and analyzes system usage activity, course evaluation, compliance, and additional metrics on a regular basis, supporting individual business and both internal and external audit-related compliance reporting as needed.
- Creates and documents processes and manages systems for initiatives including mentoring, learning, engagement, programs, and multi-rater assessments.
- Designs and creates tools, SharePoint sites and drafts communication materials for Talent and Learning programs.
- Partner with multiple stakeholders to improve and enhance our current onboarding process globally.
- Coordinate with recruitment team and other internal stakeholders on transitioning the from a candidate to a "new hire" and the onboarding steps associated with it
- Handle first day logistics including conducting orientations (as a back-up) and required documentation.
- Designs and facilitates sustainment activities for Learning and Talent programs.
- Provide exercises and activities that enhance the learning process
- Create supporting material/media (audio, video, simulations, role plays, games etc.)
- May act as a training instructor or present information for assigned training courses or program delivery
What you need to succeed:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, I/O Psychology, Business, or related field, required
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Organizational Development or as an HR Generalist, required. Contractor experience within the HR Team at Ingevity will be considered in lieu of experience
- Detail orientation and expert level of analytical, systems and critical thinking skills
- Expert proficiency in developing and generating process documentation reports that integrate information from multiple sources
- Expert level knowledge of Microsoft applications, with a focus on Excel and PowerPoint
- Excellent communicator with the ability to translate data into actionable recommendations
- Experienced in data visualization
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Ability to manage multiple work streams simultaneously and demonstrate resilience in a rapidly evolving professional environment
- Ability to build and maintain strong client and business relationships
- Experience with Workday
- Strong project management skills
