Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Description:

We are currently looking for energetic and passionate LPN’s to assist Residents in our sub-acute rehab and skilled nursing facility. We have openings on all shifts.

Job Summary:

• Recording and report health details of Residents to providers, Supervisor, and Unit Managers

• Administering medications to Residents per provider’s order.

• Providing treatments per provider’s order.

• Overseeing CNA’s, TNA’s and Unit Helpers.

• Monitor and record Residents’ food and liquid intake and output.

Requirements:

• A current unencumbered active license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse in New York State
• Willing to function under the direction of the RN Charge Nurse, Unit Manager, Assistant Director of Nursing or Director of Nursing
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language.
• Demonstrate a working knowledge of pharmacology.

Physical Requirements

§  May push, pull, move supplies on carts weighing up to 50 pounds as required.
