Douglas Manor is a 90-bed, family-owned skilled nursing facility in Windham, Connecticut specializing in short-term rehabilitation and long-term care. We are currently hiring Licensed Practical Nurses. Come join our team!

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

• Chart nurses’s notes in an informative and descriptive manner that reflects the care provided to the resident, as well as the resident’s response to the care.
• Complete and file required recordkeeping forms/charts upon the resident’s admission, transfer, and/or discharge.
• Prepare and administer medications as ordered by the physician

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Requirements

• Must have a valid CT LPN License
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language.
• COVID19 Vaccination
• CPR, ACLS or BLS Certification

Job Summary

The primary purpose of your job position is to provide each of your assigned residents with routine daily nursing care and services in accordance with the resident’s assessment and care plan, and as may be directed by your supervisors.

As a Licensed Practical Nurse you are delegated the administrative authority, responsibility, and accountability necessary for carrying out your assigned duties.
