Job Description

The standard duties of the LPN are:

• Managing IVs
• Ensuring patients and their families understand release instructions
• Supervising CNAs (Certified Nursing Assistants)
• Monitoring fluid and food intake and output
• Moving patients safely

Qualifications of the Licensed Practical Nurse:

• Valid NY state license and certification
• Proof of residency
• SS card
• Physical with Labs (Influenza documentation)
• Reference letters (Professional and personal)
• Resume
• CPR
• Malpractice insurance
