Job Requirements

Contributes to the nursing process and implements a resident plan of care.

Performs direct nursing services sucgh as aministering treatments and to assist in assessments and evaluations; assists with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.

Delegates suitable componets of care to nursing assistants providing guidance and supervision when necessary.

Assists in resident and family health teaching and rehabilitation.

Consults and validates data with other nursing staff and members of the healthcare team.

Records and reports pertinent information; provides explanation to families and other staff.

Must be knowledgeable of nursing and medical procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to nursing care facilities.

Ability to be a supportive team member, contribute to and be an example of teamwork and team concept.
