Job Description

Right at Home is looking for Live-In Caregivers to assist senior citizens in their homes.

Responsibilities of the Live-In Caregiver include:

  • Care for seniors with compassion and kindness offering companionship and understanding
  • Deliver personal care including bathing, dressing, and grooming assistance
  • Ensure they are safe in their home
  • Provide light homemaking, laundry, linen change, and meal preparation
  • Run errands and transport to appointments
  • Encourage the senior to perform exercise, recreation, and enrichment activities

Requirements of the Live-In Caregiver:

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. 
  • The Live-In Caregiver must successfully complete a written competency evaluation
  • Demonstrate a sympathetic attitude toward seniors with physical and memory challenges and be supportive
  • Read, write, speak, and understand English
  • Be able to lift at least 50 pounds
  • Have a current and valid driver’s license, car, and car insurance and a good driving record
  • Be able to work in the United States unrestricted and pass a background check
  • Work within many of the following towns: Waltham, Belmont, Brookline, Chestnut Hill, Newton, Needham, Marlborough, Wayland, Weston, Wellesley, Natick, Framingham, and Sudbury
  • Must be legally able to work in the US
