Local CDL A Flatbed Truck Driver- Home Daily

FULL-TIME

$25/hr, plus $3000 new hire bonus, see details below

$78,971 to $108,343 annual pay
Home Time: Local deliveries and home every night!

• Handling Freight: Flatbed, Tractor Trailer
• Delivering countertop and flooring material
• Making local deliveries with multiple stops.
• Reading Bill of Lading/Picking sheets.
• Assisting in loading, unloading, and securing of cargo
• Generating 137lbs of vertical push/pull force
• Ascending and descending multiple-rung ladder
• Bending, stooping, squatting, kneeling, and/or crouching
• Working at elevated height of 72” above the ground while assembling and disassembling strap, ties, ratchets, nuts, bolts, and other securing or fastening equipment
• Working at lowered height of 6” above the ground while assembling and disassembling strap, ties, ratchets, nuts, bolts, and other securing or fastening equipment
• Positioning blocks and ties, straps/chains and binders for cargo securement.
• Using iPads as an essential tool
• Making dream surfaces attainable

Schedule

Shift start: 6:30AM
Shift length: 11 hours
Monday-Friday, some weekends and evenings required

Qualifications

• Must pass drug screen
• Must pass background check
• Can lift 50 lbs
• Must be at least 21+ years old

Must possess a Valid Class B CDL. 1 year of verifiable driving experience with heavy duty vehicles Must know how to maintain a legal and accurate log book. Able to carry at least 30lbs the length of the truck bed The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
