I. POSITION SUMMARY
Logistics Center Associates are expected to support and contribute to the KSEA continuous improvement (LEAN) culture. Proficient in all entry level tasks and a proven ability to learn intermediate SAP transactions and material processing. A Logistics Center Associate II will have a record of proficiency in quality, safety, productivity, and continuous improvement initiatives.

II. MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, EDUCATION AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

  • HS Diploma or GED required
  • SAP experience required
  • Trained on all Warehouse Power Equipment (Forklift and WAVE Picker) preferred
  • Ability to work independently
  • Intermediate computer knowledge (Microsoft Office Suite)
  • Participates in a teamwork environment
  • Effective communicator with various levels within the organization
  • Dependable
  • Punctual


III. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  1. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Position requires constant and varying degrees of movement including standing, sitting, bending, walking, reaching, grabbing, and packing, lifting, pulling, and pushing
  • Must be able to frequently lift up to 25lbs
  • Must be able to occasionally lift between 30-75lbs as needed with assistance
  • Must be able to occasionally push/pull up to 320lbs on casters with assistance
  • Must be able to occasionally use a warehouse ladder for reaching shelves
  • Must be able to operate a manual pallet jack
  • Ability to use standard office equipment (computers, copiers, etc.)

  • Actively participate in LEAN/Continuous Improvement initiatives with a high level of engagement. These activities include:
    • 5S
    • Idea Board
    • Audits
    • Visual Control Systems
  • Cross-train in other outbound tasks.
  • Creation of replenishment transactions.
  • Research and resolve open inventory transactions.
  • Participate in cycle counts.
