We are currently recruiting for a Logistics Coordinator to join our growing team!  This is an exciting enhanced level of coordination and reconciliation work associated with of all imports arriving in the UK.

This role will be based onsite in Huntingdon

Duties - 

• Support end users in determining the correct customs clearance information.
• Issue Customs clearance instructions to couriers for UK imports.
• Liaise between the end users on various UK sites and the courier to resolve discrepancies and queries preventing the clearance of an import.
• Obtain all of the relevant import documents for all imports.
• Perform all month end checks as described in the Import SOP and report discrepancies to management.
• Manage the Imports Email Inbox.
• To be fully conversant with SOPs, P&Ps, GLP, GMP and Company EH&S regulations pertaining to the department and the job role.
• To support the Manager in process improvement initiatives.
• To perform such other duties that are required from time to time. These will include other Logistics tasks and routine FSA tasks.

Education/Qualifications:

• Min GCSE qualification in English and Maths
• Be open to or working towards a recognised Supply Chain or Logistics qualification

Experience:

• Computer literate (Minimum basic knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook and any ERP system)
• Previous experience in a Logistics (imports/Exports) team
