The Manager of Security & Loss Prevention is responsible for safeguarding company assets by leading the effort to provide risk mitigation, provide security oversight and asset (People, Property, and Data) protection. Will identify risks, develop innovative and cost-effective risk mitigation and loss prevention strategies, conduct sensitive investigations, play an important leadership role in crisis management and enterprise risk management, and drive related corporate initiatives within the field efficiently and effectively.
A Day in the Life of a Manager, Security & Loss Prevention:
- Maintain and audit corporate security standards for the protection of Cinemark facilities nationwide (300+ locations).
- Conduct, lead and coordinate complex and sensitive investigations regarding security threats and violations. Coordinate with law enforcement as required.
- Develop security-related education and training materials/programs for the company. Liaise with other company functions to facilitate security operations awareness and help promote a proactive security culture in the company.
- Create plans and exert strong leadership in crisis management situations arising from natural disasters, physical threats and political risks.
- Own the planning, organizing, managing, and execution of complex projects across multiple organizations and stakeholders within the field.
- Manage the physical aspects of the Security & Loss Prevention Department, including camera systems, fire and burglar alarm, theatre exit door alarm systems, theatre safes, and safe access systems.
- Prepares reports around the efficacy of established loss prevention measures.
- Processing invoices overseen by the department.
- Ideate ways to improve departmental processes to improve the company’s loss prevention efforts.
What You Will Need to Have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Liberal Arts, or related field preferred
- 5+ years’ relevant experience required
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills required
- Excellent oral and written communication skills required
- Attention to detail and organization skills required
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel required
- Bilingual skills strongly preferred (Spanish)
- Certification in Interviewing and Interrogation preferred
