MDS Nurse Position Summary:

The primary purpose of this MDS nurse position is to perform assessments of new patients, develop treatment plans for residents that comply with MDS guidelines. Treatment plans must be submitted accurately, timely, and be compliant with current regulations. This opportunity is for a 100+ bed skilled nursing facility with a Subacute Unit.

Education/Experience:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to fulfill each essential duty with a strong degree of professionalism. This position requires a detail-oriented professional with excellent communication skills. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.

• Must possess a Nursing degree from an accredited nursing program (required).
• Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of California (required).
• Must possess MDS Certification from an accredited program (highly preferred).
• MDS experience in a Long-Term care setting (highly preferred)
