Machine Operator

FULL-TIME

$18/hr, plus $500 new hire bonus, see details below

Job Description
• Initiate machine set up per job ticket
• Counting and packaging sleeves
• Labeling skids, cartons, and sleeves
• Ensure 5S practices are being followed and tools are in their toolbox
• Removing finished product from the line
• Preventive Maintenance
• Maintain machine workflow to meet due dates for assigned machine.

Requirements/Qualifications
• Must have experience with inkjet equipment and machine maintenance.
• Must be able to multitask and have good communication skills
• Experience in the card industry is preferred, but not required
• Must have a high school diploma or GED
• Must have the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals.
• Must have strong mathematical/writing skills and be able to pass a basic reading test
• Must have the ability to meet and/or pass the minimum requirement on a mechanical test or have demonstrated mechanical aptitude through prior work experience.
• Must have intermediate computer skills (email, routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheets, graphics, etc.).
• Must be able to maintain good attendance.
• Must be willing to work overtime as needed; significant overtime may be required during busy periods.
• Must be able to perform all essential functions of this job with or without reasonable accommodation.

Schedule

Shift start: 2:00PM or 10:00PM
Shift length: 8 hours
