Job Description

Job Summary:

Under general supervision, sets-up and operates machines to produce parts according to specifications, blueprints, and control plans.

Essential Functions:

• Sets-up and operates machine per standard work instructions.
• Ensures that heading and secondary operations are done according to print.
• Ensures hourly checks and all inspection processes are followed.
• Actively participate in 6S events to ensure appropriate workplace organization, cleanliness and safety.
• Must be able to find run instructions for equipment, control plans, and understands internal and external customer awareness.
• Performs other duties as assigned or requested by supervisor.

• Able to perform basic math functions.
• Able to read and understand blueprints.
• Ability to work well with others at all levels of the company.
• Able to perform visual and manual inspection using comparator, micrometers and gauges.

• Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
• Moderate lifting (up to 40 lbs.) and some bending.

• Must have a high school degree or GED.
