ProAmpac is URGENTLY HIRING at our Greensboro NC Facility, for Machine Operators.

Machine operating responsibilities include, using 4-10 machines as well as the following: 

• Carefully move paper from storage with push cart to machines.
• Load spools on machines and thread paper through
• Splice paper roll to twisting head by hand.
• Start each machine – it will run automatically for 5 to 60 minutes.
• When the machine is full and stops, cut the paper cord and connect it to the spinning device that will wind
  it on a carton spool, a coreless coil or a wooden spool.
• Remove the spool or coil and place it on the floor or in a box or package it in a plastic bag, sealing it with
  tape.
• Operator is responsible for bringing supplies to their work station and keeping the equipment and work
  station clean.
•  Visually check quality and complete production forms

• Must have ability to work overtime as needed, including 10-12 hour shifts, Saturdays and Holidays
• Ability to stand and walk extended periods of time. 
• Must be able up to lift 30 pounds.
• Constant bending
• Must adhere to company polices, safety rules and regulations including PPE.
• Manufacturing machine operating experience.
