We are currently hiring Maintenance Controls Technicians in our Smyrna, TN plant. The Maintenance Controls Tech will get hands on experience working with Programmable Logic Controllers working in a clean, temperature controlled and highly technical mechanical facility.

What will you do in this role?

• Train to be a Controls Engineer starting on Day 1!
• Learn to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings and schematics describing PLC-based control systems
• Upkeep, troubleshoot and repair mechanical, pneumatic and electronic subsystems on highly automated process lines and related equipment
• Promote and support a safe work environment and safety-oriented culture by following all safety programs and guidelines

What does it take to be successful in this role?

• Associates Degree in Machine Tool Technology, Mechatronics or related program preferred
• 3-5 years of Industrial Maintenance experience OR 0-2 years of experience and a two-year technical degree, industrial maintenance certification or equivalent
• Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC’s): Knowledge and ability to troubleshoot and modify/create programs is preferred (creating, editing and troubleshooting)
