Responsibilities:

Workas part of a team of mechanics and personnel in support of a manufacturingoperation with goal of increasing productivity; decreasing downtime and scrap.
Troubleshooting/ maintaining / repairing electro-mechanical systems, pneumatic and hydraulicmachine, electric motors, conveyors, etc.
Maybe assigned responsibilities in areas of plumbing, pipefitting, metalworking,carpentry, mechanics and electricity.
Controllingdowntime by performing routine preventive maintenance techniques and workingclosely with operators on keeping machines running at peak operation whilemaintaining the highest safety standards.
Maintainingcontinuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions,irregularities, and continuing needs.
Maintainingequipment, parts and supplies inventory by checking stock to determineinventory levels
Workclosely with other maintenance mechanics to anticipate needed equipment, parts,and supplies.
Assumeactive role in overall plant and facilities-related work.
Performroot cause failure analysis to eliminate repeat occurrences on maintenanceissues.
Troubleshootusing PLC and ladder logic
Followall company safety rules
Maintainshop and shop equipment per 5s
Otherduties as assigned

BasicQualifications:

HighSchool Graduate or GED
Proficientin electronics, motor repair, VFD, PLC's, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical.
Abilityto troubleshoot from reading hydraulic and pneumatic prints.
Bepassionate about maintaining a safe work environment.
5- 8 years of experience with industrial maintenance, preferably with packagingequipment.
Abilityto pass pre-employment physical and drug test.
Mustbe able to lift 70 lbs.
Mustbe able to sit, stoop, bend, climb ladders, and operate aerial lifts
Musthave rigging experience
Mustbe able to work overtime, weekends and any other shift as needed.

Excellentcommunication skills with operators and mechanics.
Abilityto readily initiate equipment improvements and work with various teams withinthe plant in the identification and resolution of manufacturing problems.
Willingnessto participate in and ability to learn from the Company sponsored trainingprograms, self -study and apprenticeship, to supplement on-the-job experiencetoward the development of required skills.
Mustprovide own tools.

Mustshow leadership in the advancement of quality improvement throughout themanufacturing area.
