Job Description

Maintenance Mechanic

FULL-TIME

$35/hr

*Compressed 3/4/4/3 work schedule 6pm - 6am every other Wednesday and T/F/Sa OR every other Wednesday and Su/M/T
*Combined Base + Shift Differential + Cost of living Adjustment = $35-$40 depending on experience with LME
*LME candidates base wage $31+ to $36+/hour depending on certifications, education and experience.
*Additional $1/hr shift differential and $2.77/hour cost of living adjustment.

This is a great opportunity for mechanically inclined and team oriented candidates with interest in working in a manufacturing setting.

Assembling, installing and programming mechanical, electro-mechanical and automated machinery and systems such as production machinery / tools, storage racks, and robots.

Electrical: troubleshooting or replacing industrial electrical components such as switches, contactors, fuses, motors, etc.

Hydraulic and Pneumatic: troubleshooting system components such as solenoids, valves, pumps, regulators, etc.

Mechanical: troubleshooting and repairing industrial mechanical systems such as conveyors, washers, mixers, ovens, etc.

Setting up and operating machine tool equipment in the maintenance area as well as basic operation of most production equipment such as drill presses, vertical mills, band saws, cut off saws, lathes, gas, arc, mig, and tig welding equipment as may be necessary to fabricate, repairing and/or duplicating parts required to maintain and repair equipment.

Reading and interpreting electrical schematics, mechanical drawings and equipment manuals.

Neatly and accurately recording, interpreting and applying required data.

Adhering to all safety standards.

Cleaning equipment, tools, etc. and surrounding area between jobs.

Schedule

Shift start: 6:00PM or 10:00PM
Shift length: 8 - 12 hours
Compressed 3/4/4/3 work schedule 6pm - 6am every other Wednesday and T/F/Sa OR every other Wednesday and Su/M/T; Graveyard Shift M-F with weekend OT also open

Qualifications

• Must pass drug screen (cannabis included)
• Must pass background check
• Can lift 50 lbs
• Must be at least 18+ years old

Electrical License (LME or Journeyman Card) preferred Ability to understand and follow all safety, quality and production specifications, instructions, written and verbal Basic computer skills Experience rebuilding machine parts Machine troubleshooting or repair experience Comply with all standard environmental, health and safety regulations and policies. Prior maintenance experience in an industrial facility or equivalent required Must provide own tools
