Description
Our distribution facility in Renton, WA is in need of a full time Maintenance person.
Working schedule would be Monday through Friday with some weeks Tuesday through Saturday. Pay is $20.00 to $25.00 per hour depending on experience.

We need an experienced maintenance employee to service and maintain all plant processing equipment, assist in the installation of new machinery, and monitor the performance of all plant equipment to ensure each unit is operating safe and efficient. The position is located in Renton, WA. We offer great benefits and opportunity for overtime! A valid driver’s license is preferred for machinery parts pick-up.

Responsibilities include:
• Promptly performs troubleshooting assessments, repairs and maintenance functions in response to service calls and emergency calls plant wide.
• Assists in scheduling repair times with production to minimize down time, and proper operation of processing machinery.
• Performs schedule preventative maintenance on all processing equipment as assigned by Maintenance manager.
• Conducts daily inspections on precipitators, vacuum pumps and air compressors, as well as other equipment assigned.
• Seeks opportunities to further enhance knowledge in all major areas of the plant maintenance functions.
• Completes routine maintenance and repairs on processing equipment & building.
• Performs daily setup of process lines for production schedules.
• Follows all company safety policies and procedures.
• Responds to change productively and handles other duties as required.

Basic electrical knowledge is a plus. Welding skills a plus.

Candidates are required to have a minimum of two years’ experience in a food processing maintenance position and at least five years total maintenance experience. This position requires a motivated self-starter who is able to work both independently and as a team as well as the ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing. This position will be required to walk and/or stand for up to 12 hours a day.

Schedule

Shift start: 6:00AM or 10:00AM
Shift length: 8 hours
Shift Start times varies on workload, 6am or 10am. Monday through Friday with some weeks Tuesday through Saturday
