Maintenance Supervisor – 2nd Shift

Responsibilities: This individual will provide guidance and leadership to all maintenance personnel on shift. Specific responsibilities include:

  • Staff, train, evaluate, and develop team members.
  • Monitor the production process and respond to mechanical breakdowns to direct and guide mechanic response and efficiency.
  • Verify the readiness of the production line at start-up and ensure equipment is in working order and working conditions are safe at all times.
  • Manage overall maintenance work quality and completion to ensure all standards and specifications are met.
  • Assist employees with troubleshooting problems and coaching them through making the correct adjustments.
  • Administration of preventive maintenance program.
  • Champion for company-wide safety programs and initiatives.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in any engineering field is preferred but not required. Successful candidate will have at least five years of managing hourly maintenance employees in a food processing environment. Specific requirements include:

  • In-depth knowledge of Poultry Maintenance Operations or transferable skill-sets from food manufacturing process in a similar industry. Must have verifiable experience with the Stork Nu-Tec Nuova Eviscerating Equipment, specifically the PNT and Rehanger.
  • Ability to work with computers, Office programs, as well as payroll, attendance, and performance tracking software.
  • In-depth knowledge of Pneumatics, Plumbing, Electricity, Hydraulics, Refrigeration
  • Knowledge of PLC’S & Electronics.
  • Must be able to troubleshoot with an electrical meter and read electrical line diagrams.
  • Experience with Ishida Scales, Food Mate Ultimate, and Pac-mac Baggers is a plus
