Maintenance Supervisor, Foods
Schedule, direct, and supervise the Maintenance Department for one of this large public foods manufacturing facilities. More than 1000 employees call this 100 year old organization home.
Report to the Maintenance Manager and provide technical and logistical support as needed within the department. A clear path to the next level will be within reach once the new hire has acclimated to the company culture and practices.
You must possess all the skills of a Senior Electrical and Mechanical Maintenance Technician as well as demonstrated experience in supervisory role(s).

Plan and complete projects. Assist on projects by planning, purchasing, and directing, the installation of new equipment. Coordinate and direct maintenance personnel on repairs and installations of equipment.
Assist maintenance personnel in troubleshooting, repairs, and installations of equipment. Prioritize, coordinate, and schedule all mechanical and electrical maintenance repairs and installations at all plants.

Schedule preventive maintenance on all manufacturing and facility equipment and systems.

Install new equipment by working from complex drawings and blueprints provided by the maintenance manager. Requisition parts for various repairs and projects.

Work with fellow associates to ensure Food Safety programs are followed.
Will be responsible for quality and safety tasks for your position.

Job Requirements
6 Years minimum experience in an electrical/mechanical maintenance role.

Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills to supervise others.

Must possess the ability to work with other supervisors and managers to coordinate maintenance services.
Food manufacturing or processing experience in a maintenance role is preferred.
Must possess extensive knowledge in all aspects of production equipment and repair.
Requires decision making skills and the flexibility and organizational skills required to react to equipment breakdowns and meet repair deadlines.

Bachelors degree or a combination of education and relative experience in maintenance and leadership.
