Maintenance Technician

FULL-TIME

$34.16/hr

Maintenance Mechanics perform a variety of activities to maintain plant equipment and facilities in optimum operating condition.

These activities include but are not limited to:

- Following all safety rules and practices
- Performing preventive maintenance activities such as lubricating, measuring run out, calibrating dials, aligning components; and observing operations, vibrations, and noise level
- Performing emergency/break down maintenance as necessary to support plant operations
- Using measurement and test equipment accurately
- Performing electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, steam system, and other repairs and installations as needed
- Maintaining clean and organized work areas and cleaning up work areas as part of completing assigned tasks
- Accurately and completely preparing and maintaining maintenance records and other paperwork
- Maintaining teamwork with other associates
- Performing other duties as assigned by supervision

Schedule

Shift start: 10:00PM
Shift length: 8 - 12 hours

Qualifications

• Must pass drug screen (cannabis included)
• Must pass background check
• Can lift 50 lbs
• Must be at least 18+ years old

- Must be willing to work OT including Saturdays as needed - Requires strong mechanical skills and aptitude - Strong troubleshooting skills - Written and verbal communication skills - Preferred skills in pneumatics, electrical, PLC and hydraulics - Post High School training preferred - Ability to read, write, and speak English - Ability to accurately use and read a variety of measuring devices - Well-rounded electrical, mechanical, and machine shop skills and experience - Corrugated Industry Maintenance Experience preferred
