Job Description

* This company is specifically seeking candidates with U.S. military experience. *

What You Will Do:

Maintain and repair the electronic/electrical equipment used in the facility, such as PC-based controllers, air conditioning and heating systems, boilers, and conveyors. Responsible for installing, maintaining, inspecting, and improving the efficiency of all plant manufacturing equipment.

• Investigate faulty operations, disassemble, diagnose, and determine cause or extent of trouble; perform necessary repairs
• Calibrate, troubleshoot, and repair items having the most complicated interrelated circuits and controls, testing and safety purposes.
• Copes with emergencies which may involve electrical schematics, tolerances, and specifications, engineering /operating data, and job knowledge.
• Perform all prescribed preventative maintenance on electronic equipment and/or controls Interprets schematics, wiring and circuit applications in the performance of this job.

Education and Work Experience

• Diploma from a 2 year Technical or Trade School in a related electronic course preferred
• 3+ years Mechanical experience required; 3 years Programmable logic controllers preferred
• Understand the principles and applications of electronic equipment
