Our client in Cleveland, OH, is a full service metal stamping, aluminum extrusions, and specialty washers company.  They are in search of the right person to fill their position of Maintenance Technician! 

Direct Hire!
1st Shift 6a - 4: 30p Monday - Friday 
$26/ hour

Job Summary: 
Responsible for installs, maintains and repairs machinery, equipment, physical structures, pipe and electrical systems under the direction of the Maintenance Manager. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:  

•   Visually inspects and tests machinery, cleans and lubricates shafts, bearings, gears and other parts of machinery and equipment and follow preventative maintenance procedures
• Dismantles defective machines and equipment and installs new or repaired parts
• Replace gauges, valves, pressure regulators and related equipment
• Sets up and operates machine tools such as a lathe, grinder, drill and milling machine to repair or fabricate machine parts, jigs, fixtures and tools
• Will report to Maintenance Manager 

• High school diploma/GED/two year technical degree or certification or
• Four years experience in a manufacturing environment or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Proficient in shop math with ability to add and subtract, multiply and divide using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals and use a calculator.
• Experience with automated welding and spot welding set up and repair is a plus.
