MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN OPPORTUNITIES: 

  • Maintenance Utility Tech (12-hr Days)
  • Maintenance Utility Tech (12-hr Nights)
  • Preventative Maintenance Tech (3rd shift)


WAGE: $25 to $31 (depending on shift and experience)

ATTRACTIVE SKILLS/EXPERIENCES:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent (required)
    Trade School and/or Vocational School Diploma (highly preferred)
  • Previous experience (1 year) of maintenance experience in an industrial setting 
  • Basic understanding of operational production/facility equipment such as compressed air systems, compressed gas systems, gas control systems, and AC/DC fundamentals.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and ability to pass in-house Maintenance Technician I certification
    Exposure to a fast-paced manufacturing setting and cGMP (highly preferred)
  • Experience in glass forming industry and/or pharmaceutical industry experience (highly preferred)
  • Demonstrated communication skills (written / oral) including the ability to read/speak English
  • Basic PC skills/functionality
  • Ability and willingness to work in a production floor setting with moderate noise
  • Ability and willingness to work in fast-paced, matrix structured organization

SUMMARY / RESPONSIBILITIES: This Maintenance Technician will be responsible/required (but not limited) to…

  • Perform daily maintenance activities to include, machine evaluations, status checks and prior discrepancies, along with communicating on potential machines issues
  • Tackle bench-work activities to include, machine rebuilds, cleaning necessary parts, operational status checks, and upgrades
  • Use and understand milling and lathes techniques  
  • Perform work by referencing and adhering to technical manuals, schematics, shop-drawings and other documented specifications
  • Interface with Production (Operators and Shift Manager) and other Maintenance contacts to communicate on machine efficiency and effectiveness, and/or regarding foreseeable issues
  • Monitor and perform seasonal maintenance activities on facility equipment during non-standard work hours
  • Demonstrate flexibility in covering other shifts during instances of employee vacations or call-offs with the department
  • Participate in required trainings and meetings; also where/when applicable- help guide new hires
  • Follow all Company policies and procedures
  • Help implement and/or suggest new concepts of IMSU/EHS in area of responsibility, while adhering to all safety policies and regulations, along with the EHS Guideline
