Maintenance Technician

FULL-TIME

$21/hr

Wage: $21.28 - $29.29

The Mechanic Technician will be performing all maintenance work as assigned by the Maintenance Planner and/or the Maintenance Lead or Advisor according to the specifications as outlined in applicable Visual Work Instruction and proactive maintenance techniques.

Duties include:
• Executing work orders (should account for 70-80% of a work day)
• Repairing and developing complex parts such as guards and shields.
• Using a variety of power tools, tap and die, mill, lathe, (volt/multi-meter, soldering iron, bearing heater, laser alignment tool, infrared, ultrasonic, and Megger maybe level 3 at some plants)
• Repairing and troubleshooting basic systems, motors, and transmissions
• Changing out bearings and seals
• Removing, repairing, and/or replacing more complicated areas of machinery such as walking beams, die wheels, film drives, etc.

Monday - Friday

Qualifications

• Must pass drug screen (cannabis excluded)
• Must pass background check
• Can lift 50 lbs
• Must be at least 18+ years old

Required to pass a Maintenance Test Schreiber requires that an employee have the authorization to work in the country in which the role is based. In the event, that an applicant does not have current work authorization, Schreiber will determine, in its sole discretion, whether to sponsor an individual for work authorization. However, based on immigration requirements, not all roles are suitable for sponsorship.
