We are looking for a results-driven Regional Loss Prevention Manager to join the Follett team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the management of the Asset Protection function in their assigned area. Guide the implementation and training of Asset Protection programs, enforcement of policies and procedures, auditing, investigations and directing of shrink reduction efforts.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

  • Achieve financial shortage goals, develop strong operational partnerships, and provide support on all shrinkage control related topics.
  • Ensure effective utilization of physical security controls in assigned locations to prevent & reduce inventory shrinkage.
  • Direct and execute loss prevention related strategies in new store opening, remodels and transition stores.
  • Demonstrate commitment to company goals through a management style that promotes honest, open door communication; support efforts related to improving the customer experience.
  • Execute programs to aid in the prevention, detection & resolution of internal & external losses.
  • Ensure consistency, in philosophy and operation of AP (Asset Protection) functions in assigned locations through the development of a regular means of communication with store employees.
  • Identify non-compliance and enforce policy, procedure and guidelines set forth for the company.
  • Schedule & execute required AP store and special audits.
  • Take appropriate action to bring internal investigations to successful conclusion.
  • Ensure all strategies incorporated in the investigation process are within company guidelines.
  • Serve as a liaison with local or campus law enforcement agencies.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years supervisory management experience in retail asset protection/loss prevention with Multi-unit experience is required.
  • Travel required up to 50-75% to our retail stores and facilities.
  • Non-standard work hours can be but not limited to, nights, weekends, and special event.
  • Demonstrated experience with customer outreach promotions to generate sales for all product lines within the bookstore.
  • Strong organizational, time management, problem-solving skills, customer service, communication and presentation skills are essential.
  • Proven experience with MS Office, POS and inventory systems required.
  • Must demonstrate strong analytical skills, auditing, and financial acumen.
  • Completion of Wicklander - Zulawski Interviewing program.
