Position Summary:  
This position is responsible for helping to define and implement the ADT corporate communication content strategy in collaboration with communications leadership.  The roles involves developing strategic communications plans that involve the use of video and multi-media content to reach and engage key stakeholders for the business.  This role also is responsible for the operation of the ADT Boca TV studio and the production of all video content created for corporate communications purposes.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Perform TV studio technician and management duties to produce, direct and edit taped and livestreamed, professional-grade video. Requires independent operation of modern studio equipment, specifically the Black Magic Design Pocket Cinema Camera, ATEM switcher and DaVinci Resolve editing workflow for recorded and live show production.  
  • Discovery, planning and leadership over production strategy and plans that support the corporate communication content production function.  Liaises with colleagues inside and outside of the communications department to identify best solutions to complex video communications challenges.
  • Responsible for managing media created in the course of story and news production for corporate communications purposes. Includes creation and management of an easily accessible library of video, photo and editorial material with meta tags for accurate archival and retrieval for re-use or re-editing.  Also includes asset preparation and formatting for various channels.  
  • Responsible for contracting, budgeting and procuring freelancers to support large-scale or specialized productions.
  • This role is in a fast-paced, collaborative work environment requiring a wide range of expertise in video production, TV direction and content planning.  Requires a truly multi-talented individual capable of strategic planning and leadership as well as tactical execution related to the scope of role. The nature of this role will require occasional work outside of traditional hours, on weekends and travel up to 15%.   
     

Education:

  • University bachelor's degree in telecommunications or technical school degree in TV/film production or closely related field

Experience:

  • 5+ years of professional experience in roles directly related to the job duties of Manager, Media Production, including at a media organization and corporate environment. Exemplary portfolio and competency demonstration must accompany requisite professional experience.
Skills:
  •  Video production, direction, editing and post, livestreaming, liveshow production using video switcher and control software, ENG fundamentals, familiarity with Black Magic Design ecosystem, social video formatting and style
  • TV studio operations, field-based still and film camera operation, motion graphic production and use, expertise in Black Magic Design ecosystem, corporate content production department leadership, strategic content planning
