Job Description

We need a CPA with experience doing consolidations, purchase accounting (acquisitions) and annual audits (footnote disclosures and implementing new accounting standards) or an analyst with heavy modeling experience, forecasting/planning.


Job Summary:
Analyzes past and present financial data of organization, potential acquisition targets, and forecasts future revenues and expenditures. Provides research and industry market analysis.

Position Scope:
Works collectively with management to analyze and forecast company position and make recommendations regarding future financial activity.
Prerequisites:
a) Education: Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting or other related field
b) Experience: Financial modeling experience Excellent Microsoft Office skills; ability to create, manipulate and analyze spreadsheets Prior experience with acquisitions
c) Minimum Qualifications: Five or more years of financial planning and analysis experience

Responsibilities
a) Essential Functions:
  • Analyzes financial records of present, past and future operations, trends and costs, estimated and realized revenues and obligations incurred to project future revenues and expenses.
  • repares financial data and analysis, and makes recommendations in the areas of acquisitions, budgets, forecasts, financial plans and business forecasts. Advises senior management on financial planning matters.
  • Performs financial modeling to measure and forecast potential impacts of investments and potential business development activities.
