As a Marketing Manager Sr within PNC's Merchant Services organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA, Downers Grove, IL, Cleveland, OH, Philadelphia, PA or Houston, TX.

This role will lead a team in the development of marketing strategies and implementation of tactics to meet business objectives in the growth and retention of current business banking customers. Working with business partners in Merchant Services, Lending, Treasury Management and Payments to understand their go to market strategies will be key in creating an integrated customer journey that improves customer engagement and retention.

This Senior Marketing Manager will have a deep understanding of marketing channels that most effectively reach customers and the skill in developing messaging that connects and causes action by business decision makers. Just as important is the measurement of initiatives and recommending ways to improve outcomes.
Leadership of the existing, talented team and responsibility for their continued growth and development is very important, as is taking on leadership responsibilities for the larger marketing team. The person in this role has an opportunity make an impact on the success of the line of business and the success of PNC small business customers.

Job Description

  • Contributes to the vision and manages the execution and implementation of integrated, multi-channel Marketing plans for one or more products/segments/channels.
  • Supports creation of sound strategic Marketing plans and builds consensus among senior partners. Proactively adapts and optimizes to changing business environment. Leverages influence and SME throughout.
  • Leads team to translate desired business outcomes into strategy and executes Marketing programs/projects, strategies and activities that may include advertising, sales content and internal communications. Directs and leads multi-functional program teams.
  • Acts as main contact with agencies, third parties or internal business partners to coordinate development and execute on their behalf.
  • Oversees activities including coordination with legal, compliance, invoicing, financial management and process workflows.
  • Responsible for performance management, coaching and development of direct reports.

Competencies

Work Experience

Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree. Higher level education such as a Masters degree, PhD, or certifications is desirable. Industry experience is typically 8+ years. At least 5 years of prior management experience is typically required. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education and experience (including military service) may be considered.
