Meat Manager

FULL-TIME

$18/hr

Job responsibilities:
- Maintaining Department conditions by ensuring product is fresh, packed out, correct price tags and the department is shop-able.
- Conducting weekly Cycle counts.
- Controlling damages and shrink.
- Communicating to buyers about any inventory concerns in a timely manner.
-Ability to work in a 37 degrees temperature.
- Must be complete weekly reports as per company guidelines.
- Supervises ans works alongside Assistant Meat Manager and stockers.
- Supervises the receiving of products and ensures that the proper paperwork is complete. Must ensure received product is stored away daily.
- Follows company cleaning program.
- Ensures all the pallets stored in the racks have the proper block tags with receive dates and expiration date.
- Works different schedules as required. May be required to start before store opening and/or start later in order to close the store and prepare for the next business day.

Schedule

Shift start: 5:00AM
Shift length: 10 hours
Monday - Friday with possible weekend work

Qualifications
  • Must pass drug screen (cannabis included)
  • Can lift 80 lbs
  • Must be at least 18+ years old
Must have management experience in Warehouse/Retail. At least 5 years operating power equipment such forklifts/HI-LO and electric jacks. Must have basic computer knowledge such as excel, power-point and word.
