This full time, permanent career opportunity is for a Mechanical Engineering Industrial Equipment Project Manager at a niche, custom machine manufacturer. Employees are never bored as there is a lot of variety in the products produced, the work is not repetitive and the machines are all custom. The company products make a difference to customers. The company supports its employees and employee growth. The duties and responsibilities of the successful candidate will include the following:
- Managing multiple industrial equipment projects at one time
- Planning and overseeing projects from concept to completion
- Creating and overseeing project strategizing, planning and goal attainment
- Creating proposals, cash flow diagrams, product flow diagrams, and piping and instrument diagrams
- Participating in project design, pricing, negotiations and scheduling
- Ensuring project timelines, budgets and requirements are met
- Traveling domestically and internationally when a project begins
The background of the successful candidate must include the following:
- A mechanical engineering or related engineering degree
- Five or more years of managing mechanical industrial equipment projects
- Two or more years of Microsoft Project experience
- Two or more years of Microsoft Excel experience
- Two or more years of SolidWorks design experience
- Possess the ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed
- Possess a solid work history
- Being a US citizen or green card holder
- Having a residence within a 45 minute drive
