Job Description

We are currently hiring compassionate and caring Registered Nurses to fill a 3-month assignments in Kalamazoo, Michigan. This registered nurse opportunity is working 12-hour day or night shifts in Med/Surg. Responsibilities of the Med/Surg Nurse:

• Uses professional nursing skills through assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation and supervision of individual patient care for the adult patient ages 18-100+ according to departmental policies and procedures.
• Accepts responsibility for collaboration of co-workers in the implementation of patient care.
• Organizes and provides direct patient care incorporating clinical decision-making and prioritization of activities.
• Education of the patient and family/significant other and other health care team members is provided by the Registered Nurse.
• Work 36-48 hours/week

Requirements of the Registered Nurse:

• 1 year of MS experience
• 1 year of previous travel - Required
• Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must have strong critical thinking and process management skills.
• Michigan State registered nurse license required or compact
• AHA BLS, AHA ACLS

Compensation and Benefits

• Salary $96-101/hour based on experience, benefit level and traveler status.*
