• $28/hr
• Contract
• 8: 30am-5pm.  Must be flexible as we may need to modify hours to  8am-4: 30pm. (Must be willing and flexible with the transition once facility moves to another area)

Required

• 2 -3 years working as a Medical Assistant Required
• 1 year of Acute Care Experience in a Hospital Setting Required
• Completion of all requirements in a recognized Medical Assistant training program.
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Knowledge of ICD-9 and CPT coding and billing regulations, preferred
• Pediatric  experience preferred

Responsibilities

• functions as a member of the clinic patient care team and functions as both Clinic Assistant and Medical Assistant as directed by the Clinic Manager or designee
• performs all duties required to complete patient Check-in/Check-out, and performs other clinic front desk activities.
• performs technical and clerical tasks, and patient care tasks
• Reports to: Clinic Manager and supervised by the Clerical Lead
