SKILLS REQUIRED:
-
1+ year(s) of Generalist experience preferred

Knowledge of current medical terminology to perform full range of laboratory tests (including phlebotomy)

Knowledge of laboratory equipment and testing to perform quality control checks and troubleshooting of instrumentation
-
Ability to read and understand information about instrumentation in laboratory field
CERTIFICATION/ LICENSURE:
-
ASCP certification as a Medical Technologist or equivalent required.
EDUCATION:
-
BS or an AAS degree from an accredited school in medical laboratory science or related science
-
Completion of a medical technology program or equivalent certification
