Job Description

Wylander Solutions, a recruiting company specializing in the disaster restoration industry, is hiring a Mitigation Division Manager for a well-established, full-service insurance restoration company in Morris County, New Jersey. The Mitigation Division Manager is responsible for the oversight of restoration projects by coordinating the field activities of technicians and field supervisors, and managing the lifecycle of jobs. The Mitigation Division Manager will exceed established standards of production performance and customer service expectations through continuous process improvement, training, and development of the production team. The Mitigation Division performs jobs in Morris County.

We are seeking a highly skilled professional with experience in mitigation or an adjacent industry and exceptional management skills, who has a passion for teaching and mentoring others.

 Responsibilities:

  • Effectively train production staff to meet or exceed division targets for quality ratings, profitability and customer satisfaction
  • Maintain sufficient production capacity through staffing, equipping and supplying the division
  • Assist in interviewing, hiring, training and discharging Service Technicians
  • Coordinate/Assist Project Managers with scheduling of technicians, laborers and subcontractors
  • Prepare job contracts and work with Estimators to write, review and oversee job estimates
  • Schedule jobs and maintain project efficiency
  • Monitor production efficiencies and review job costing on completed work
  • Meet or exceed division targets for Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) and Direct Labor
  • Maintain timely and accurate flow of production reporting from field operations to administration
  • Perform production work as needed
  • Communicate with customers and conduct in-home inspections as needed
  • Oversee maintenance of equipment and vehicles

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED, plus 3+ years of experience in the restoration industry, construction industry, or aligned industry
  • Team leader or supervisory responsibility experience
  • Experience in managing business operations and budgets
  • IICRC WRT is a plus
  • Xactimate experience is a plus
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency with computer software, including MS Word and Excel
  • Encircle experience a plus
  • Must be willing to undergo and pass a background check and drug screening
  • Must have a clean driving record/license
