$3000 SIGN ON BONUS!

You will be using a company vehicle equipped with a compact, portable x-ray machine (DR), and drive locally to x-ray patients in many different facilities throughout your shift. 

#RAD 

• Travel by automobile to perform portable x-rays and EKG exams in a variety of settings, including nursing homes, assisted living facilities, correctional institutions, residential homes, and other patient locations.
• Determine exposure factors based on height, weight, portion of body involved and degree on penetration required.
• Follow ALARA principles for reducing radiation exposure.
• Prepare images for reading by radiologist or requesting physician.
• Transmit images and all required associated documentation in a timely manner.
• Complete all forms and maintain records, logs, and reports of work performed according to standard protocols.
• Take good care of vehicle; ensure that the vehicle is well stocked with necessary supplies.
• Assist with order taking, validation of studies, communication with reading radiologists, customer call-backs and other administrative and customer support functions as directed.
• Act professionally and exhibit courtesy, friendliness, and a positive attitude when interacting with co-workers, patients, patient’s family, client staff, physicians and others.
• Follow direction and adhere to all company policies, procedures, and guidelines.

Meet all state-specific and federal requirements for training, education, competency, certification and state license to perform portable x-rays, including one or more of the following.

• Registered with ARRT or Limited Scope X-ray Operator.
• Has a valid state-issued driver’s license with a good driving record.

Professional Portable X-Ray (PPX), a division of DispatchHealth, is looking for a full time or part time radiologic technologist to join our rapidly growing mobile x-ray company.  Our x-ray technologists travel locally to diagnose patients in their own homes or at a facility.  You will be driving a company vehicle fully equipped with easy-to-move, state-of-the-art portable x-ray equipment .
