Job Description

AdMed is currently seeking a creative and innovative Motion Graphics Designer. This candidate should be prepared to make an immediate impact on our products. As a member of our Motion Graphics team, you will be a key contributor to the look and feel of our client projects and, by extension, our brand. This position is full-time and based in our Philadelphia, PA or New Hope, PA office-Hybrid or remote.



Responsibilities:

• Create animated narrative 2D videos with Adobe After Effects, which may illustrate scientific concepts, physiological processes, clinical data, or other information

• Adhere to AV storyboards as well as external and internal brand guidelines

• Follow established work flows, systems, policies, and procedures, which lead to work being delivered on time and at the appropriate level of quality

• Take direction, collaborate, and communicate effectively and professionally across the production department and our firm

• Participate in the conceptual phases of the project life cycle, including ideation of how to align written scientific content with available time and resources to bring the most exciting outcomes to client projects

• Exercise independent judgment and creativity to create positive outcomes for clients and the firm



Requirements:

• At least 2-5 years of experience executing graphic design, motion graphics, and animation in an agency setting

• Strong time management skills, ability to handle multiple simultaneous deadlines

• Advanced, demonstrated 2D animation skills in both hand-drawn and computer-based formats. Experience in character animation a plus

• Advanced knowledge of animation production techniques and adherence to the principles of animation

• Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, including After Effects, Animate, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, and Photoshop

• Intermediate knowledge of Autodesk Maya, including Mental Ray and MASH, familiarity with Arnold is a plus

• Foundational knowledge of video post-production processes, including encoding, preparing, organizing, and maintaining project files

• Bachelor’s degree in Visual Arts or a related field preferred
