To keep pace, we are seeking a Motion Graphics Designer to help our brands deliver engaging, stop the scroll creative assets and ideation. Our aim is to help 15 million people sleep better in the next five years — one restful night of sleep at a time. Our passion is building products that enable people to get better, more effective sleep.

What We Are Looking For

You will be responsible for helping Sleepme’s market its physical and digital products through omnichannel marketing by creating designed assets that are highly engaging and product-focused. In this role, you’ll interact with nearly all aspects of the business including marketing, design, engineering, operations, product, customer support teams, etc. You’ll also interact with all brands and international markets.

Reporting to the Creative Director, you’ll work closely with the product, design, and content teams to produce content across our omnichannel business. We’re looking for a creative mind that can work with our content and email specialist to deliver engaging sleep content that will change the way the world sleeps.

The ideal candidate is knowledgeable and skilled at creating motion graphics content in After Effects, building engaging assets within brand guidelines, and producing appealing, sophisticated animations that will connect with target audiences and objectives. You are comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment that is goal-oriented and emphasizes accountability for delivering results in their channel.

What You’ll Do

• Work with the e-commerce, product, partnerships, and demand generation team members to design on-brand emails, SMS, and lead capture campaigns.
• Use Figma and/or similar tools (Adobe Creative Suite) to create designs and HTML/CSS to code those designs.
• Concept and create 2D and 3D motion video design content and assets for a variety of digital, social, mobile, web, broadcast, and emerging platforms
• Collaborate with creative teams, designers, and producers to develop and enhance narrative content from the initial script and storyboard to production, editing, and delivery
• Contribute to the development of original conceptual ideas and help bring to life ideas developed by our Campaign & Content teams
• Adhere to brand guidelines in ways that still push creative boundaries
• Create engaging animations that connect with the target audience
• Contribute ideas/trends to help pitch ideas to marketing teams
• Create motion graphics packages as a contributor and take on whole projects from start to finish.
• Incorporate changes recommended into the final design, treating cross-department collaborators as clients.

• A passion for health and wellness
• Fine Arts, Design, Marketing, Advertising Degree and/or equivalent work experience
• Minimum 5 years experience in agency/ in-house creative services
• Expert proficiency in Adobe Suite (After Effects, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere), required
• Strong fundamentals in compositing; Exceptional sense of visual design
• Passion for the animation field and a clear interest in motion graphics and related new technology
• Bright, articulate, self-starter who can take initiative and bring new ideas to the table
• Able to work closely with a team of producers, editors, and art-directors
• Experience with stop motion animation
• Proficiency in Cinema 4D and/or Maya, a plus
• Ecommerce/B2C design experience.
• Excellent time management, organization, and prioritization skills are required to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Flexible/Adaptable - able to quickly shift priorities and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
