PLUS Communications is based in Arlington, Virginia. PLUS Communications leads award-winning campaigns integrating public affairs, corporate communications, digital, advertising and media buying. PLUS means more!

We’re looking for a video creator who has an eye for design. As PLUS’ Motion Graphics Designer, you will be responsible for producing and creating high impact motion graphic content, including but not limited to: 30 and 15 second ads for digital and broadcast, animated GIFs, explainer/infographic centric videos, special content and promotional videos. You will work collaboratively alongside our producers, editors, and designers.

The role is suited to someone with a broad range of animation skills, video editing and finishing. To thrive in our fast-paced environment, you should be able to manage on-going assignments amongst a normal amount of last-minute requests and quick turnarounds.

Requirements

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conceptualizing and creating motion graphics that enhances PLUS’ video products
• Editing raw video footage and then adding effects/elements/text to enhance with motion graphics
• Act as a creative voice in the development and creation of PLUS’ video projects
• Edit and finish video content across different platforms
• Ownership of our video file organization and retention, keeping video files organized and up-to-date in Frame.io and our server
  
  

Requirements

• Experience level 3-5 years
• Experience with Adobe After Effects, Premiere, Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Good sense of design with typography. 2D animation is preferred, 3D animation is a bonus.
• Ability to work closely with team members to streamline video post-production and execute campaign needs alongside concurrent quick-turn edits and tweaks
• Ability to manage multiple projects subject to deadlines
• Strong attention to detail, highly organized and thorough
• Able to work independently and also take direction and feedback
• Previous agency experience preferred
